KIDS WILL... Make new friends! • Meet a real African drummer! • Learn funky drum rhythms! • Watch videos! • Learn some French! • Learn about making African drums! • Perform for the community! The Hooked On Drums Summer Camp will give kids a fun, funky and challenging experience learning West African drumming on authentic instruments from the continent. They'll learn to play intricate, exciting, traditional drum music, and study and perform with special guest Master Drummer Billy Nankouma Konate from West Africa during the 4th week. You'll be amazed at how quickly your kids will grasp music that challenges most adults, thanks to Hooked On Drums' fascinating and involving teaching techniques.
